Camellia oil has a long history helping Japanese women to have porcelain-like skin and long, beautiful, shiny hair.
Cold-pressed virgin camellia oil is very versatile and one of the many uses it has is to be an excellent moisturizer and conditioner, both for hair and the delicate skin of the scalp. That is why when preparing our first specific product for hair with camellia oil, we obviously thought of a shampoo and since we started with an ingredient that works well for all types of hair, we wanted to pay special attention to the skin that houses our hair. hair follicles, on which the good condition of our hair largely depends, since it is where the living part of it is housed.
The composition of the external hair is like that of our nails, and although the use of the appropriate oils can provide hydration, body and shine, its true health lies in the first place in the nutrition and in the care of the leather skin scalp, since hair is on the skin like a tree on earth.
The hair is a filamentous structure implanted in a cavity of the epidermis, the hair follicle, the stem of the tree here would be the hair shaft and the earth is the delicate skin of the scalp.
When hair grows, it actually comes out of the skin, outside of the follicle. Hair, which are actually biologically dead cells, has an internal structure or core (cortex) and a series of outer protective layers (cuticle).
Keeping this in mind, we work to present a shampoo that can be used by all hair types and that takes care of the health of the scalp.
Our recipe for a healthy, clean and shiny hair:

BENEFITS OF SOLID SHAMPOO
The best thing about this type of solid products is that they are all active ingredient, so they last much longer, at least twice as much as normal liquid shampoo and take up little space.
Its composition does not include ingredients present in most cosmetic products, some in large quantities, such as water, and the consequent preservatives. A plastic container is not necessary either (we use a recyclable aluminum jar), with what is less weight in the transport to the points of sale and less waste in general, they seem small things, but that added are measures that greatly reduce the environmental impact and in transport, the famous ecological footprint.
We have not included perfume in our shampoo either, to avoid the persistent chemicals that this type of ingredient carries, which can be a source of allergies, so its fresh aroma, which is the result of the combination of essential oils in its formula, does not persist in hair after washing.
Other ingredients that it does not contain are silicones and / or PEGs, so the first results may be contradictory, as it is a product that does not provide these types of ingredients, which cover the hair and scalp with a physical film, detangle it and give the ends a hydrating and sealed look.
This is basically due to the fact that these ingredients, which are found in most conventional hair products, mask the real situation, both of the hair and the scalp, giving a false sensation of shine and hydration; This layer disappears when you stop using them and it may take several washes to remove all those accumulated silicones and begin to see the real state of the hair and scalp. In a few washes these silicones are removed and both the hair and the skin that houses it tend to self-regulate and balance their sebum production, after the sudden absence of these occlusive ingredients.
On this issue, we recommend a complete explanation, highly recommended reading, with very clear information about these ingredients and their function in conventional hair products in this post by Organics Magazine.
Natural products perform another type of cleaning, without covering or masking the real state of the hair or scalp, allowing it to breathe. It must be taken into account that there is normally an adaptation period when changing the formulation, if conventional products are being used, but if the change has already been made previously, results can be seen from the first wash.
And if what you want is to show off your total hair, give the ends a touch with a couple of drops of our pure camellia oil, it acts as a conditioner and a finishing serum because it detangles, closes ends and gives shine to the hair.
